Pilot Courses

26-30, August, 2019
In Summer 2019, MINETRAIN launched the very first pilot training programme designed for all those working in the mining industry and willing to enrich their understanding of the mine life cycle and value chain.
The course included online teaching material and a one-week practical training in real-life conditions at the Pyhäsälmi Mine in Finland.

August, 2020
Given the great success of the 1st Pilot course, the consortium of MINETRAIN decided to launch a second pilot training module in Summer 2020. Details for the upcoming pilot training programme will be announced soon.

Publications

The main publications in journals and presentations held at conferences regarding the research work conducted in MINETRAIN can be found here:

Collaborations

The Consortium of MINETRAIN is in close collaboration with the respective consortium of the research project "International Network of Raw Materials Trainings Centres" (INTERMIN)that is also funded from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. This project is coordinated by the Geological Survey of Spain.
INTERMIN is running a surveythat will help the consortium compile a database of existing raw-materials related education programmes.


Current Events & Surveys

There is an ongoing Stakeholders Survey regarding the training courses developed in the MINETRAIN project. The purpose of this survey is to identify the interest and needs of potential participants.
